Jen - Vintage pinup

Jen was interested in a vintage themed pinup shoot and when I asked her if she had a vintage bike or roller-skates, she brought this cool little prop along! We settled on pin-curls for her straight blond hair, and she demonstrated her perfect pinup pout for me :)

And another 2-model pic from the Jen+Andi mini session we had.

Amanda

For Amanda's shoot, I sent her and the makeup artist concept images of female comic strip heros and a feminine warrior look. After a couple of email and phone exchanges, see what we came up with!

It was a blast doing this shoot!

Andi - vintage pinup!

Andi's shoot was vintage-pinup themed. At the end of her shoot, we did a mini session with my next model Jen. I'll be posting Jen's shoot in a few days. This was a lot of fun and I got to make use of my new red umbrella!

The next picture isn't processed with a vintage look to it because of the decidedly modern stuff in the background.

But we are back to vintage here!

Hazel & Coop

Shortly after this pic, Hazel bonked her head on the rail. Poor baby!

And the parents!

Barbara, Josh and Jesseka - Part 1

I got together with these 3 gorgeous models to do two different themed shoots. The first part was outdoors. This is a sneak peak of the outdoors couples shoot. We did a small "reading room" shoot before that and finished our session with an indoor shoot. I'll post those pieces separately since they have very different themes.

Couple shoot of Josh and Barbara - they had awesome chemistry!

Couple shot with "other woman" peeking through between them

Stay tuned for more from this shoot! We worked for two and a half hours and had an absolute blast!

Nikki & Shel

Nikki is on the home stretch - barely two weeks from due date. Look at the almost-parents glow with pride and happiness! We wish you guys a smooth delivery.

Jenna's alternative shoot

Jenna originally responded to the fall theme shoots I wanted to do, but we found perfect candidates in each other for an alternative makeup and shoot. Here is a mini selection of her work with me. I might post some more just because I had so much fun. Her makeup was done by Lana.

Aga's photoshoot

Aga came down from San Antonio, armed with her fall and winter coats (as wintery as Texas gets!) for a great photo shoot in downtown. I had a great time demonstrating poses and contorting myself into odd shapes, and then watching Aga take it from there with ease. This shoot was a lot of fun!

Two pics in higher size and then a few more composite storyboards. Storyboard pics link to bigger versions.

Vintage shoot with Dani

Dani and I got together for another shoot, this time with a vintage theme. Many of the items including the turquoise dress, her hat and jewelry were family heirlooms from the 30's. Since I couldn't limit myself to a few images, I made two big storyboards for this shoot.

Brenna: Senior fashion shoot

Brenna is a senior looking to build her model portfolio and had a one hour photo shoot with me. We couldn't use my favorite Austin location (downtown) since there was a marathon that morning, so we ventured out in a deviation from my stone building love affair :)

Dani

A quick selection from Dani's model shoot. Dani is an aspiring model and we did a photoshoot last weekend to start building her portfolio. This was a lot of fun for both of us and I'm looking forward to doing more fashion themed shoots.
